I am sure everyone has their own plan and I am going to try to create my own plan. What is working for you? What doesn't work?

I'm not doing any formal plan. I'm trying to make healthier food choices, exercise 4-5 times a week, and drink lots of water. I'm also working on watching my portion sizes and listening to my body when it tells me that I'm hungry or full. This is working for me so far, although my weight loss hasn't been fast, it has been steady. I'm losing between 1-1.5 pounds per week. Good luck and I hope you find what works best for you :-)

I did Weight Watchers for a while and was pretty successful with it (didnt attend meetings, did it online).

I'm new to the board, but would like to share with you a few things. I've dieted many times over the years, wish I had the money back from all the "help" I've gotten. I've been searching for a plan that I will be able to live with the rest of my life. Also have been doing alot of deep thinking as to why I always fall off a program. It's because I am an emotional eater... when sad, lonely, happy, mad you name it. This is one reason I am looking into Dr Phil's Ultimate Weight Solution, the 7 steps, at least that's what I think they are called. I just got the book. I have also considered Overeaters Anonamous (forgive the spelling) looking for a meeting night that fits my & my daughters schedule.

I wish you the best in designing a program that fits your life style, I know it's not easy. I do know that journaling is a great help, I journal every day my feelings, my thoughts, what's going on, special Bible verses, Prayers, etc. Now I plan to add what I eat, how much, wher I ate it, and the mood I am in when eating. I'm sure this will help me. Hope this helps!

I just eat sensibly, and exercise reasonably. That's it, in a nutshell. No *plan* created by someone else. Just good old fashioned commonsense. Good luck to you, too.
