I know for a fact it is not greener on either side. It's just different kinds of grass.

Why did I think it would turn into a debate because the way I read it was "hey you are single. you have nothing going on in your life that is important."

By the way things Amanda suggested I already do. I already make little exercises out of the house work.

Anyway i was asking more of how do ya'll do it.....

not how can I add more exercise into my schedule.

I can relate to that. I know when I don't walk now I feel just so blah. Problem I am having is that I am not going to bed at a good time because I have so much energy still.

If I could read and walk at the same time, I would. I can't even do it on a treadmill. I get motion sickness. Without the reading, I'm fine. I can walk up to 8 miles without getting tired - just have to make sure I'm doing a loop somewhere and not walking one way. I'd cry.

I knew my fitness level improved while on vacation. We did the Pinnacle Peak trail in north Scottsdale, and it's 1.75 miles one way, and you have to turn around and come back the way you came. Well, Re and Tard here did it at 11:30 in the morning at the hottest time of day (cause I'm good like that)and although it was hot, I wasn't sweating, never got out of breath, and boinged up the steep parts of the trail like a bunny a few times.

Poor Kyle ended up with the beginnings of heat exhaustion and overexposure. I let him drink all the water (2 liters) to keep him hydrated and cool, but 1/4 mile from the parking lot he started to lose it. I felt bad, because the trail said easy, which it may have been for some people (they let horses on, too)but for Kyle it was not fun. he loved it, but it really taxed him. I took off his shirt and wet it, wrapped it loosely around his neck to cool the blood to his brain, and parked him in the car with the ac going while I got us lunch at a nearby Subway. Hyperthermia is not something I deal with on a regular basis living in NH - it's usually the opposite! I had heat exhaustion once and passed out flat on my face. I used to work at a stable and was giving pony rides and it has hotter than hell. I kept my horse, Buddy cool and hydrated with the hose but neglected myself. Apparently after I passed out, Buddy stood over me and gave me shade and kept me from getting trampled. I was found about five minutes later and spent the rest of the afternoon getting IV fluid and stayed home for 2 days. Poor Buddy - when the ambulance took me away he neighed his head off for an hour and ran around like an idiot looking for me. I love my Buddy! When I came back to work he sniffed me thoroughly for ten minutes to make sure I was ok. He is really a big dog I think.

So, if you made it through my disjointed rambling, excersize can suck more than usual if you ain't prepared for it!

Karrie,

One just sets priorities, and does it! That's all. And of course, not everyone thinks of exercise as crunches and timed walks. There are all kinds of exercise! I like walking, but I also like doing other things. Like gardening....several hours worth last night. The yard looks great ;)
