Well it looks like the first big ripple from low carb diets is Krispy Kreme.
The are reporting the first ever net loss and are cutting store openings.
I am thinking that if it is a *fad* then it is a *fad* that is not going to go away anytime soon.

I work part time at a grocery store, and a lady came through the other day with a button that said "I Love Carbs". She said just because of the big low-carb diets that are out there. I got a kick out of that.

i have a friend who is doing southbeach and i told her that when we eat together that i will try and eat what she does so I can support her in this. i am thankful i love veggies!!
i am not a krispy kreme fan.
i made a tshirt that has some ummm rather graphic images on it and it says "Low Carb Is Evil" rofl
Can you cite a source for that? If they are *in trouble,* it probably isn't exclusively owing to the fad diets out there. Those things are high fat too, and lots of people are becoming health conscious. It's not all carbs you know! It's just that krispy kreme is unhealthy for anybody. And then too, profits for any business go up and down....that's to be expected.

as for your answer go look at foxnews.com or look it up on the NYSE since they are a public trading company.
Enough sources for you?
BTW, you should really learn how to use Google. It took me less than 1 second to find those links.
