Hey All!

I woke up this morning, and decided that I'm not happy with my weight. I currently weigh 230 which (luckily for my build and height) looks less than it is, but IS nonetheless. Anyway, I woke up this morning, and decided I was going to change. For teh last couple of weeks I have spent time trying, and re-trying and re-re-trying weight watchers, and now I have decided that I am actually going to do it this time. For the past two weeks I have stayed constant with running for 20 minutes 3 x a week on the treadmill and daily walking. SO at least I have that going for me!

Anyways, how about your stories? I figure if I can keep in contact with others It will help that much more. I have 4 goals of roughly 15 lbs each.

I guess that's it:)

Thanks for listening!!!

Welcome to the boards! It sounds like you're off to a good start with your weight loss plan. I think that having mini-goals like you do is a great idea. I've got about 70 pounds left to go, down 25 pounds from my original start weight of 246. Good luck and hope to see more of your posts :-)

Linda.... thank you for your support and your welcome! And good for you!!! 25 pounds can make quite a difference, and I know how hard it is to get there!!! I did it once, gained it back, and I am going to lose it again - permanently - I know how good it feel to lose it. I hope that with staying on the board I can motivate myself and keep others motivated too.

Shawna... thank you also for your support, I really appreciate it. And congrats to you too for losing so much!!!! I hope to be able to attend the weight watchers meeting soon. I am currently a university student who is home for the summer, and have no access to get there. Plus I know I am going to be going back to school soon, so I also want to wait to go to the weight watchers there so I can stay focused with a particular leader. I actually can't wait because I Know that the motivation I gain from the meetings would greatly help me ... so for now I have resorted to ivilliage, which I hope to have some sort of the same effect. Anyway, thanks for your support thus far, I hope to keep in touch with all of you!

Well if you want to wait until you get back to your college home, then you can still start counting points now (which I think you said your gonna do).
