Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are drenched in a whole lot of different cultures. I was just wondering if any of you have a flair to cook foods from other cultures. I am Mexican American, so of course those foods are in my menu. But I was with a Samoan man, and heavily drenched in that culture, so I cook Polynesian foods also. I love to Wok, do Italian Gemelli with Chicken and Sun Dried Tomatoes, and then go to the health side with some organics, Protein Smoothies and Wheat Grass Drinks. How about y'all?

I cook, and eat, all kinds of foods whether "ethnic" or simply regional. In fact, one of my favorite things to do when I visit a new place is take back a "suvenior" found in a local grocery store....like sorgum (from the South) or boiled peanuts (also South) or Amish cheeses (Ohio was where I got that), all different things from all different places. And I love Greek or Turkish food, also German, Japanese....you name it, I'll probably be "game" to try it (at least once)!
