one the thing shouldn't be doing that and two who has heard of that. goodness i don't have to pay unless there is nothing wrong with the car then it's like 50 to get it out.

have you worked your way up to the GM of the dealership?

Why didn't you have your own mechanic check out the car before buying it? You should always do that to make sure you don't get what it sounds like you got, a LEMON...I am lucky to have a boyfriend and BIL that are both mechanics so...

long ago learned from my daddy who is a mechanic .... always have your own mechanic check the car out first :)

Firestone is our mechanic for the other car and trying to get the new car in there to look at it would have been a pain.

I would have to agree that you should not have to pay the $100.

Most states also have "Lemon Laws" which protect the buyer from this exact thing. She should be able to just give them the car back, get her money back, and start looking again.

Sounds to me like the tranny or maybe the sensors? I would demand it fixed or get another vehicle. There is also the lemon law too. I would mention this to the dealer.

They said that it might be as simple as just resetting something but then they also mentioned the transmission, which is why they are taking it to the Saturn dealership.

I called them to find out if they had any information and he said they wouldnt get to the car until tomorrow morning.
