The funeral was today, Friday, and yes I watched it. I also watched Wednesday for the ceremony when the casket came into the Rotunda for public viewing, and I expect to watch this evening for the final burial ceremony in Calif.
What is your problem, Karrie? You asked a question, and I answered it. I was polite to you, and is it too much to expect it reciprocated?
Have a nice day, and consider your post reported. I notice CM Joyce already asked posters to stop these attacks. And I'm certainly not arguing with you about Reagan, on the day of his funeral. I respect President Reagan, his family, and the American public too much for that.
I know of one (published in my newspaper). Condolence book is www.ronaldreaganmemorial.com and it says "Individuals wishing to send condolences are encouraged to do so at the Internet address above or at the post office address below":

Karrie, I am going to say this very quietly so as not to offend anyone, but your earlier comments regarding state vs. national funeral were dead on. Can you hear me whispering? Also just wanted to point out for whomever was offended by the flag flying at full-staff next to another flag... the American flag can not be flown lower than the flag of another country on American soil. The business should have removed the German flag and then lowered the American flag to half staff. Not trying to stir the pot honestly but I feel like you needed a little defending over this.
President Reagan was in office during my teenage and young adult years. I remember January 1989 when he left office after serving two terms and thinking "Oh No! Who is going to watch over us now?!"
His presidency was a golden time for me.
When I found out he died, I felt as if I lost a father. I also felt like a piece of America died too.
I have signed the condolensce book. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and the family.
There's a 135 page document about national ceremonies of this type, and anyone who wants to read it online can. The President had a number of ceremonies during the week, but only ONE (in the national cathedral) was the funeral. About the flag....you're right. The German flag could have been taken down if leaving it up would have made it fly higher than an American flag at half staff. But the post pertaining to this didn't indicate that would be the case. Anyway, I'm sure the business was respectful enough to take care of it.
