Friends,
I work for a newspaper and reviewed a new diet, The SuperModel Diet last month. I scoffed at the title, but once I read the book, everything fell into place for me.
As long as I can remember, I've been a fad dieter and a diet pill popper. Thank God, I am no longer.
There are two vital tips described in The SuperModel Diet that every overweight person trying to diet needs to know:
1. Atkins = fAtkins and so do other fad diets. The medical research documented in the book is enough to turn any intelligent person away from the stupid and failing dieting cycle we've been stuck running around in. The author gathered medical data from American Med. Association and orgs like them. (the book is what keyed me in to iVillage)
2. The only one true way to lose weight is by burning more calories than you consume. This does not mean exercise or eliminating foods. Take it from me. I've so far lost over 30 pounds in the past month...and I'm still losing. Instead of joining a gym, I enrolled in a pottery class and I cleaned out my garage.
My advice is, either read and practice this diet, or learn about food and the calories associated with them and also learn about the calories you burn off through out the day by doing routine things.
Write me if you wish. I would love to help if I can. I'm feeling truly happy for the first time in a long time. I'd like to share and help.
Love,
Janey

It's not necessary to use this "plan" or any other, in order to lose weight. All it takes is sensible eating (consuming fewer calories than the body uses for fuel) and moving the body a bit for all around good health. (Are you selling a diet plan? If so, refer to TOS).
