well i have been busy the last few weeks just enjoying the weather and my dd being out of school but have lurked when i haven't posted and noticed a lot of others haven't been posting so how's about a roll call so we can get updated on how we're doing =)

Now that finals are over, I'm back to eating regular meals (and packing a lunch). I'm also working out regularly again. The weight loss has slowed somewhat, but I know that I'm eating slightly more calories than I was last fall (and now I weigh less). I'm still keeping a food diary, and I've begun to re-incorporate weight lifting into my exercise routine. Once grass seed season is over, I will probably start walking on weekends when the gym is closed. I'd like to start running by the end of the summer...but we'll see.
Otherwise, I've been busy with work. I'm working three jobs, basically--about 50 hours a week in all. Naturally, I'm posting much, much less on the boards, but I am still here! But I'm having a blast working, and it's made me realize how much I want to be done with school and start my career.

Diet is low carb/low fat and I occassionally have meat-free days. There is only so much chicken one can eat.
Today I ate....
Breakfast: 8oz. homemade FF yogurt with berries, almonds, flaxseed
Coffee (duh)
Lunch: Tried the WW menu @ Applebee's and had the grilled tilapia w/mango salsa and subbed veggies for the rice. Not bad!
Dessert(oops): Couple bites of a raspberry-choc truffle cakey-thing. I COULDN'T HELP IT!
Dinner: California Rolls - seaweed wrap, sushi rice, cooked shrimp, ginger chunks, soy sauce and enough wasabi to incinerate my sinuses. I love when my food causes me pain.
I don't work out much, but I shopped for EIGHT hours with a six year old girl and it's going to take me at LEAST a day to recover. I was a dork and bought us a bunch of flower leis at Target and ladybug sunglasses and just had the best time...
Oh - Mel and Des !!! It turns out that I had HER drive, SHE bought me lunch, and we bought NOTHING at Old Navy!!!!! Victory at last! LOL
I did get a really cool pair of army green drawstring capris at Sears too!

Been exercising better, but not eating much because of the heat. I hate heat! Come on, Winter!
I have spent a long time afraid of going back to college because of doubting my own intelligence and my own abilities. I'm not going to do that anymore. I started researching the financial aid options, and if I can get financial aid I am going to start at Sauk Valley CC in the fall.

Just finished my first semester back at school...what a relief that's over!

Diet plan: Food diary, counting calories
I have to go to the dentist this afternoon and I'm not looking forward to it! It's just a 6 month checkup, but I hate going to the dentist! That's about all that's new with me. Exciting, huh?
