If you could go back to the age of 8, but know everything that you know now about weight loss/dieting/health, what would you do differently?

Well, first of all, I wouldn't want to be a child with an adult's knowledge. Age 8 is a time to be a child, not a miniature adult. But playing the "what if" game, if I knew then what I know now I imagine I'd live my life exactly the same. It hasn't been half bad, after all!

I would have been more active, maybe gotten into some sports.Never would I have gone on birth control pills and I certainly would never have started smoking.Oh...and my first pregnancy,I wouldn't have pigged out on everything I saw.Wouldn't have starved myself during the day...only to eat anything I could get my hands on in the evening. And I would have gone to the gym I belonged to more often.

Hi Annie! Aren't you the one who posted on Atkins 'Atkins eat your words?' and had that post deleted because it was so nasty? For those of you who did not get to read this little gem, Annie is on the Supermodel Diet and bashes fat people.

(The post has been YANKED, but here are some of the responses she received - )

"We have plenty of debate boards here on iVillage. Please go to one of them if you want a debate. This is a support board and your comments are inappropriate here."

"We've seen other "Supermodel Diet" wackies around here and on other boards in Ivillage... And anyway, if your writing a book because really want to help people get HEALTHY, supermodels aren't exactly known for their healthy lifestyles... :P

Starfish"

"Sounds to me, YOU'RE the one that needs to get educated...Have you read the book??? Have you done ANY research??? I have...I have been following this woe for almost 5 years, and have never been more healthy in my life. Why don't you go somewhere else to spew your poison, it's not welcomed here.

Kathy"

Check it our for yourselves. Just a heads up, ladies.

Since her other post was 'yanked' on another board i don't know why you felt the need to have it dredged back up since her post on here was fine, no bashing, in fact the opposite.

As for her being on the Supermodel diet, whatever works/ed for her. If she started bashing then i would understand a post like this but i think that *drama* from other boards should stay there.

Well, excuse me. I caught her in a LIE, and she said she didn't diet, where on the Atkins board, she praised the supermodel diet that she did and said not to blame our fat lazy butts on carbs, so do this diet and be skinny like her. Go read the responses for YOURSELF. I'm just trying to warn people here. Remember the post by sugary25 a few months back? Maybe not, but I think a fair warning was in order.

Sorry if you have a problem with it. I post on Atkins and I saw it, you did not. had you seen the OP, I think you mihght have felt the same way.

End of story. I'm dropping it. No apologies.
