Sorry I haven't posted ladies! I have just been so stressed with my wedding, just little over three weeks away. Well, I gave WW the old team try and it didn't work for me. Now I am doing the Curves diet and just love it! I am losing about a pound a day on the first phase and haven't gone hungry at all. Just gotta get used to eating all day! I eat 6 small meals. Well, I went to put gas in my car and I was really craving a diet soda. Of course the potato chips were right there, saying take me home, lol. I love Grandma Shearer's chips, drool. I picked up the bag, eh, couldn't hurt, then dropped them like a hot potato. I resisted the temptation! I saw a current picture of myself and got all depressed at how big I am and how I am going to be a fat bride, but now I am all the more motivated. So cheer me on girls, cause I hope to be in the 240's by the wedding. On my diet I am supposed to lose anywhere from 6-10 pounds, so here's hoping. Heather

I got married almost 3 years ago (August 2001) and we went on a cruise to the Mexican Riveria and LOVED IT!
I was overweight when I got married so let me offer some advice - love the day and the days leading to your wedding and dont put yourself down because you are not a "thin" bride. Enjoy your wedding plans.

Hi Hedieann, I'm new to the board but wanted to reply. First of all, good job on avoiding the chips!! Small victories are the best! Congrats on the wedding too! I got married 4 yrs ago and I was a heavy bride, but you know? Though I would have LOVED to have been thin, it's not what my marriage and wedding day was about. I had the time of my life, and I made myself beautiful, and I glowed, because of
Goiod for you in the will power dept. I've had a moment or two like those, but not lately...
