Sounds to me like you've made some good decisions here. Now you've got a year and a half to try losing the weight and if it doesn't work you've got a back up plan. Good for you!
I think that sounds like a good plan. A year and a half is a good amount of time to try and do this on your own, and you should be pretty sure by then whether or not you want to go ahead with the surgery. Thanks for keeping us updated :)
Good for you! Sorry about the long wait, but think of it this way...if you give yourself time to lose weight, surgery recovery may be easier, or you may not even need surgery at all!
It sounds like you're on the right track!Sorry you have to be patient and wait a year, but maybe it will better your recovery(that is,if you'll still need it then ;o)).Good luck and stick around the boards here =)We'd love to have another person to yap with.
Im sorry that things arent going as smoothe as you had hoped but I agree sticking with WW and seeing what happens in the long run is the best thing to do :)
If the waiting list is 1-1/2 years you'll probably be to goal before your name reaches the top of the list anyway. And besides, the operation doesn't take off the weight...a person who has the surgery still has to cut back...way back...on food and calories to get that done. Lots of good luck.
