My BIL and two nephews are coming up from FL to spend the weekend. Unfortunately, my SIL won't be joining them. It's too bad, because we get a long so well and I always enjoy it when she comes to visit. Oh well, maybe next time. I'm not sure what we're doing yet, but I'm sure we'll have a cookout one day and probably go see a fireworks display on the 4th. Other than that, it will probably be a lot of visiting and hanging out.

I hope everyone has a fun, safe 4th of July! And Shawna, enjoy your company :)

Would you believe that this is a holiday weekend?

I love your frog! I know, I can't believe it's the holiday already either! Well, at least I only have 3 people coming over. It sounds like you're going to have a whole houseful! I hope you've planned some escape time for yourself :)

If you like frogs, then you'd like it at my house. We have so many frogs outside. They make so much racket! A couple of weeks ago I was sitting on my living room couch, and I saw something outside the window. I went over to it and there was a frog crawling across the window screen! I got the cat to see what she would do, and she was so fascinated. She kept trying to get at it (it was outside, of course) but it was funny to see her trying to get the frog.

Well, right now I am pissed off at Roger, and I will see him on Friday, so I plan to fight with him on Friday, make-up Friday night when he finally gives in and does what I want. I will also be going swimming with my sister and nephew Devon on Friday morning.

Saturday, no real big plans, hang out or whatever.

Sunday, we are heading to St. Louis to meet up with some friends we haven't seen in 2 years.

That's MY weekend...woah, so exciting!

I live in a major tourist area which, especially this time of year, means the highway is just one big parking lot....bumper to bumper traffic! So my plans, for this weekend anyway, involve staying close to home and off the roads as much as possible. It's already getting bad out there, and it took over 2 hours to get just 12 miles this morning. As I said, ONE BIG PARKING LOT!

As luck would have it, the harbor and fireworks Sunday are within walking distance. So we'll pack a picnic, take the lawn chairs, and go there. Otherwise, no plans except to NOT become a statistic this weekend.

Drive safe, whatever you do...and have a good one!

No special plans that I know of, other than possible grill out, watching fireworks Sunday, the movies on Friday night. Nothing special. It's too hot for big plans.
