Can anyone tell me if they had any alarming signs in their body as their weight ascended into the higher numbers? I mean, symptoms, pains, chronic problems? I'm feeling kinda out there........

Ohhh..let me see. Shortness of breath, decreased endurance, knees hurt, lower back pain, difficulty with pelvic ultrasounds (due to too much abdominal fat), increased occurences of yeast infections, insomnia/hypersomnia, hypercholesteremia (high cholesterol)

and just generally feelin' POOPY.

I used to get acid reflux a lot, but I think that was more due to the fact that I used to overstuff myself all the time. Now that I don't overstuff myself anymore, I don't get acid reflux anymore.

The one that I noticed right away was acid reflux.I had heartburn almost everyday and went through tums and zantac like it was candy.Others were knee pain and just overall feeling like I couldn't do the things I used to.

I think everybody *probably* does, but the important thing to focus on is that, once you lose the weight, those "alarming signs" (or at least some) will likely disappear.

No, YER a POO POO HEAD!!!

Neenerneenerneener!!!!

* And I got on the scale one day a long time ago, having just woken up, and my eyes were still a bit blurry. I thought the digital scale said 'MOO' instead of '200'.

THAT was alarming.

Personally, after my weight went past 240 I felt tired most of the time, had aches in my lower body if I was on my feet too long, got winded VERY easily, and didn't sleep very well. I even thought at one time I was having heart attack like symptoms, but a Dr appt. ruled that out.

What sort of things are you feeling? If the symptoms whatever they are, really worry you, please go see your doctor ASAP. It's never wrong to be overly cautious when it comes to your health.

I sincerely hope you get to feeling better.

Ohhh Amy! Please tell me your knees feel better now. Give me hope! I have a knee that is crunchy. It doesn't hurt really, it just is that nagging achy crap. Especially when I get up in the morning. Then it kinda comes and goes. It WAS worse when I was at my top weight of 270. Do ya think it could go away sometime after I get down further into One-derland?
