Good for you, Shawna! Hey, you never know, this might be the kick-start you need to start losing again. Atkins can be done in a healthy way - just try to keep to leaner proteins like fish, chicken, lean cuts of beef and pork. (I'd kill for a porterhouse but my heart would jump out of my chest and roll across the floor if it knew I was about to eat that, LOL)

Atkins Induction...stick to it like glue, drink your H20 and make sure you actually eat ENOUGH. Tilapia and salmon are really good fish, and salmon has alot of 'good' fats...and I know you have 'nut issues' but almonds are really good, too.

Let us know what happens, and the Atkins Board is very helpful as well, even though I'm a bit of an 'non-conformist' there, hee hee...

Shawna, I am very new here. How much weight have you lost so far? I need to lose 145 lbs, and my doc says plenty of water, fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, smaller portions, exercise. He said it is ineffective to exercise less than 45 minutes each time, because the body won't burn stored fat in shorter time spans. Anyway, the best of luck to you, Shawna!

Hey Atkins worked for you in the past so why not? I know you can do it! I'm so glad that you are nipping it in the bud. Too often times people lose alot of weight only to gain it back when they get derailed. It happen to me. I once went from 255 to 218 only to go back up past my starting point to top out at 270! Ye Gads!

I know I haven't been around much. Lots of things going on as you know. Just keep praying, 'kay?

Actually, I HAVE had shark - Mako *GASP* and it was delicious. But I won't eat it now, for several reasons....I love sharks too much, some are becoming endangered, and the practice of 'finning' the animals and throwing the rest overboard stillalive it, at best, a huge waste.
