Hi. I'm Jessie and I need to lose 100 pounds. Actually, 85 pounds is a more realistic goal, but whatever. Right now I weigh 235. That is more than I weighed when I was 9 months pregnant with my 3rd and last baby. Like many of you, I have had life long issues with food. I used to have self esteem issues, but those seem to have mostly resolved. I know exactly how my body loses weight, because I've done it before. I have to count calories (about 1500-1600 a day) and I have to exercise for 30-40 minutes 5 days a week. If I do that, I will lose 2 pounds a week. I've done it before, between babies 2 and 3. Dropped a bunch of weight, but of course it all came back with the next baby and postpartum. I just need to get my act together and get serious about this. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about what I have to do to lose weight, but at this point, I feel like I have no choice. It's ridiculous. I flew last week and I could barely fit in the seat. I can't live like this and be a good mom and a happy woman. I and my family all deserve more. So I'm hoping that I can join your group to celebrate and commiserate with you! I look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Jessie, Sounds like you know what you have to do to lose the weight. And I feel that comming here helps also,you find out you are not alone and have the support and motivation of the others here that HELPS alot! Glad you are here and i KNOW you will Lose the weight!
