Ha! I told you! I liek lemon and lime, but the lime is a bit more subtle than the lemon. I also like Diet Cherry Coke, which, oddly enough tastes like Dr. Pepper.
Glad you found a new treat (whatever keeps you away from the Moolattes)
Our grocery has a special on coke products this week: all varieties, the fridge pack (12 cans) at five 12 packs for $10. Normally, if we have any pop/soda in the house, it would likely be diet pepsi (and not very often), but at those prices....well!
Edited to add: I did hear something, on the news recently, about diet drinks actually leading to obesity though. That might be of interest. It seems, the artificial sweeteners in products including drinks actually has *conditioned* Americans to want sweeter and sweeter foods (it messes with the taste buds), and more salt too...and the combination either leads to over-eating, or perhaps the artificial sweeteners plus salt lead to retention of fluids too (I must confess, since we don't have pop that often and I don't use many artificial products...I really didn't pay attention to relate it accurately here, and it has been a couple weeks. May be something to research and read though).
BTW, rather than start a topic here about it...I'll just ask here. Did anyone else see Dateline last night, the program about obesity?
