I started Weight Watchers 14 weeks ago. I was taking Merdia as well (for 30 days) and started going back to the gym.
In 14 weeks I have lost 41#s. I started at 293#s I am 5'8.
At this point I am still doing Weight Watchers and going to the gym 6 nights a week and am up to 70 minutes of cardio.
I have not gained once yet on my program but its slowing down and today is weigh in day and I fear I am up. It was also that time of the month so I suppose I can blame some of my thoughts on that.
I am so focused I think that I am putting so much into this I cant see some of my acomplishments. I want to loose another 80#s and I need to stay focused and get over these plateaus.
Any help? I am sticking to program, and continuing with the gym.
I just moved to a new state I dont know anyone, and have few friends since my divorce anyhow. I figured maybe coming here I could at least make some online friends.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Hi there J and welcome to the boards :)
I do switch it up a little I really need to find a way to change my workouts. I have gotten so used to what I do I may get stuck in a rut. Which is not what I need.
Any suggestions?
I walk 25 mins and than the precor for about 40 mins and than ride the bike or on my off days run on the treadmill. Always do crunches for my abs (or lack there of so far ).

Well you are definitely beating me in the exercise dept!
I need to start using weights more often I am sure that will really help tone and burn, I was scared to use them at the start because I didnt want to gain.
You are right I need to relax, I suppose I feel so far away from my goal that I just want to keep up to good work out without any hiccups but I know thats not possible.
Shawna great job by the way!
Take care everyone, I get weighed in tonight >hides my eyes< hehe.

Thank you Jodi :)
You look wonderful.
Yes I did reach my 10% and I took that key chain out of the box and thre it right on my keys.
I also have rewarded myself with burning a lot of songs to CD's and such, to keep me going at the gym! I needed it thats for sure.
You are right I need to look at the smaller goals. I am looking too far down the road.
I do reward myself once a week with something I really wanted to eat all week. My roommate and I are doing this together but we are very different in our habits and our wants out of our loss. That is why I am here. I am not doing it for anyone but me and for my health.
Thanks for the encouragment today! I really needed a lift.
Keep up the good work !
