Did anyone miss me, lol! Glad to be home, got back on Saturday and have been on the recoup from a nasty sunburn and feminine problems. My luck though, lol. It was absolutely beautiful down there. If anyone ever gets a chance I highly recommend the all inclusives in the Riviera Maya, there are many to choose from. One word of advice, do the tours yourself. It is quite inexpensive to catch a taxi in Mexico and the hotel is always more than helpful on where ever you want to go. We checked out the ruins, Chichen Itza and Tulum, went snorkeling in Xel-Ha and went on a Pirate ship cruise in Cancun. I must say Cancun seems very run down and overly busy. There is still partying to be had where we were, not to the amount of Cancun, but you could definitely live it up on the Riviera Maya. The ocean was beautiful, clear and sand white. Shawn got stung by a jellyfish, but he's alright. We had an ocean view and boy was it hot, hot, hot! There is definitely a shortage of air conditioning down there. Everything is open air down there, lots of windowless buildings with ceiling fans. Food was fabulous and we didn't go crazy. It's not your typical Mexican food, more of a Yucatan cuisine.
