I love soup! All kinds of soup. I can live on it, and while I was in Uni, I did (it was the cheapest thing to eat).

I will have to agree with a couple others that homemade French Onion is about my favourite (cheese in any way, shape or form is divine). However I recently found a great line called Pacific. It's all natural/organic and much lower in sodium than some of the Campbell's ones - which can be very high. The best one is roasted red pepper and tomato...yummm...and if I wasn't being so good..it's great with grated chedder sprinkled on top and croutons.

**sigh**

I don't think French Onion has to be the diet death that you guys make it out to be...sautee the onions in just a teaspoon of butter, eat it with a couple of slices of fresh baguette and a salad and you have a nice light dinner.

Way way bad for you,but my Grandma used to make Butterball soup.It was a chicken soup with butterballs made from:butter, eggs, and breadcrumbs. It was soooo yummy.I'm usually a creamy soup type person though.

Deb's fav = The Linda Blair Special--Split Pea Soup!

I LOVE soup! Too bad I can't make it. Mine always turns out like mop water so I just buy lots of Progresso soups. I also like the venerable Campbell's Tomato soup--great with a tuna sandwich!
