Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share this with all of you. This morning, while puttering around town (it's a holiday here - wahoo) I bought Prince's new cd. I know there are quite a few people out there who don't like him but for those who loved his old stuff - THIS IS A FANTASTIC CD TO WORK OUT TO! I couldn't stop moving.

What is your favourite music to pop into your cd player and boogie away to?

Have a great week!

Cheers

Lisa

Thanks for the tip, Freya!

A friend of mine went to his concert and gave me a copy of his CD called "Musicology". I never thought about dancing to it, but maybe I will make dancing my exercise for today, and dance to his CD! I love exercising to Celine Dion's "A New Day has Come" CD. I find it to be a great motivator for me.

Hi Lisa,

Wow, so many to choose from, but the first music that popped into my head is Gloria Estefan's Greatest hits. The best dance tracks are Conga, Rhythym is Gonna Get You and of course, Get On Your Feet. (that song title says it all!!) I also like Turn the Beat Around from her Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me CD. Latin Music makes you SWEAT!!! And anything upbeat by Donna Summer gets me movin'!!! I always have to have loud, upbeat music to clean house to!!

now...Get On Your Feet... and DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, I like anything with a Latin Beat. Chayanne is a good CD. Anything Kumbia or Salsa or Merengue; Elvis Crespo is one of my boy/f's favorites, and I like to move to that.

I had no idea Georgie was back! I'm in dire need of new music to walk and dance to as I get bored with the same ol'sounds.

Cheers

The very first thing I thought when I saw this question was Slipknot! How funny to see that someone got to it before me. That was a unexpected surprise and I totally agree! My mother and I was talking about this yesterday. About 7 years ago she lost 110lbs. listening to White Zombie while running, and she was saying she wants to mail Rob Zombie a letter of thanks. lol.

An idea that I have thought about doing is getting all of my music that really gets me pumped and making my own workout cd to listen to. That way I can cut out all the slow songs (like on Slipknots Vol. 3 album) and get to the point of breaking a sweat.
