Sorry to hear about the car trouble, but even more so that you are having a tough time with the meals. Just remember, it's only temporary and you'll be back on track in no time!! You've been doing so well, I know you will recover quickly!!
I'm sorry you're having such a rough time, Mary! I hate it when I have car trouble. It's even harder when you don't have alternate transportation. Hang in there! Sending you positive vibes :)
Mary - I'm getting to your post a day late so I hope everything has worked out for you. Just try to do the best you can and then when all is well, get yourself back on track. Don't stress out (easier said than done) and definately don't beat yourself up over anything you put in your mouth that you think you shouldn't. We all experience "snags" in our weight loss journey but eventually they get fixed or work themselves out. Little tip - keep drinking your water! At least you know you can get that. Good Luck to you!
Car problems are frustrating, but how does that translate into "when and what I eat has been totally at someone else's mercy." As adults, we are all free to make food choices. If someone is going out for food, offer to pay gas for them to go to the grocery and pick up items on your list, and give them money for the foods you want. Some groceries have delivery services, and other places deliver their menu items. Check your phone directory, and you can get whatever you want brought to you. Since you're online, you can even order food online (from anywhere) and you can get overnight delivery Fedex or similar. It's not that difficult.
