Which do you believe?
And when was the last time you saw a super-healthy looking Dr ? Mine is all pasty-skinned, chicken chested with a little paunch, gnarly coarse hair, and he's only in his 40's. HE LOOKS LIKE HELL! Ha freakin HA to him!

Hi Astri:
My point here was simply to mention what a great quote she made about being overweight, that it isn't a tragedy as many would seem to think.

In the case of Kristie Allie, I don't think that 300 lbs (or more) could be considered *just a little overweight.* The whole premise of Kristie Allie's new show is "fat actress" (the title, I believe). She was on Letterman, doing a promo, and she claimed to be 385 lbs. And she looked it! No matter what magazine, what program, or what personal appearance.....it has to be said that Kristie Allie is dangerously overweight, morbidly obese.
I think the point that someone made, about her advertisement for the show (shoveling the spagetti) is degrading...both to the actress, and to any overweight woman (or man), or even to any self-respecting female....well, that would be my opinion of her as well. She's not doing anyone a favor (certainly not herself) by putting herself out there like that. It was a disgusting display, in that promo for the new show, IMO.
On the issue of doctors, there are plenty of *buff* ones out there, and some (no doubt) who are so busy taking care of patients as to neglect themselves. It happens. Doctors are people too, and come in all shapes and sizes.
