Forte,

This post had me concerned? Does it mean that you're in the area where one or both hit, or are you just saying....generally speaking....that two hurricanes "coming to town" (eg to the US mainland) qualify as Wednesday woes, more important than the little things in life most people find to complain about? I would agree with you there, if that's the case. But I'm also hoping, and praying, you were no where near those storms!

Take care of yourself. Please post, so your "board friends" can rest easy about your safety at this point. I'm genuinely concerned.

Oh, I got over that speed bump, and sat in dispatch at 2 am this morning crying from the stress, and my pet officer Ryan was handing me tissues and holding my hand. It was rather pathetic of me to lose it at work, but I was so hurt. But, I told the Chief EVERYTHING and he is NOT HAPPY with what has been doen. I said all I wanted was to not be treated like this, and he said he's going to take care of it next week. I even have the Corporal to back me up, as i spoke with him today.

I am not vengeful or vindictive(it takes too much energy), and I would have a nervous breakdown if she got fired, because I can't stand having thing happen like that, but it's her own fault. behavior like this, esp. in the law enforcement field, is very risky.

Big Honkin' hugs to you,

Amy

Good for you for telling the Chief about this. I just changed jobs because my last manager suffered severly from a Napoleon complex - plus, for some reason, she was threatened by lil'ol'me...honestly I have no clue why.

Facing people like that head on is tough but when you do you'll feel like you can take on the world!

Congrats!

Thanks! I suppose I should have told the chief alot sooner rather than to let things build up, because it kinda looks petty now, but this crap she pulled is the last straw. And I suppose I should have discussed it with her, instead of going over her head to the chief, but I wasn't comfortable doing that (I'm scared of her and even though the chief is THE CHIEF, somehow I felt better talking to him. I'm SO weird)

I'll keep us updated...
