Hello Everyone. I am new to these boards and I wanted to say Hello. I am about 280lbs, so I need to lose, according to doctors, atleast 155lbs. Me, I would be happy with losing anything at this point, but my goal is to get to atleast 150lbs. I want you all to know I am here to support any and all of you, and desperately need your support. I always get "gung-ho" about losing weight. Sometimes to the point that I have all of the charts and a program for me done, then the program sits and I do nothing. I have no will power. In the next couple of weeks I will be starting Weight Watchers, but even with that I do not think I will be able to stick with it.

Welcome to the board Chrisitina. I'm doing weight watchers too, I've only ben doing it for two weeks and have definitely had stumbling but I'm gonna try and stick to it and so should you.

Hi Christina !

Welcome, I am on WW as well, to date I have lost 46.5#s I have another 80 to go.

It can be a great program, I am here to listen and or talk if you need it. You are making a great stride by posting today.

I appreciate both of your replies. I am going to try my hardest, and I really thank you for offering the support. I think these boards can be great and so much help. I have never been on this one before, but I was on one for pregnancy. My husband and I were trying, but I recently decided that losing the weight is more important. I was also told that it may be easier to conceive being lighter. I am so ready to lose this weight! My health has been taking a tumble and I want to be more active with my daughter.

Jodi - How long have you been on WW?

Shawna - Thanks so much!! I am going to stick with it and try to be very positive. I really like to walk and would love to go hiking again (I used to when I was thinner), so I think that part of dieting I will be ok with. I am thankful for these boards, because I really do not have anyone to talk to about this. My sister lives with me and walks every day, but is not on any diet.

Hi Christina and welcome! I agree with Shawna, you need to have a positive attitude :) You CAN and you WILL do this! I'm not doing WW, but as you can see, a lot of people here are so you're in good company. Glad you joined us :)
