Frankly, that's very offensive under the circumstances. People have died, Shawna. There are at least two new storms brewing, and if they materialize and impact those (already) National Diseaster areas, many more people could potentially sustain property damage or lose their lives. Moreover, Hurricane Charlie is still going up the East Coast and could strengthen. I see nothing to laugh about. Nothing at all. I'm really shocked.
I hope you have a nice *vacation,* if that works out for you. But please understand that thousands are suffering, and many have died in a very tragic weather pattern. It's not some little "weather drama" put on for amusement.
I DON'T THINK the tropical storm, and a cat 4 hurricane are laughing matters, EVER, nor are the two potential ones out there right now, so I can't understand your "hehe." It could be that people are reading this board who know someone in the diseaster area, or who have sustained damage/injuries of a more personal nature. We should remember to be sensitive to the needs of others, especially under these circumstances. It's not all about having fun, wearing a bathing suit, and riding a boat. Some people have died, Shawna. And it's all so sad.
A lot of people were killed, more sustained property damage, and many are without homes. And the two storms continue to wreck havoc, with a potential for at least two more on the way. Personally, I feel for the people of Florida and other States impacted by the state of national diseaster, and I don't think it's something to "hehe" about at all. God Bless the people of Florida, and keep them and people in the other States safe right now. My heart goes out to them, and frankly Shawna, this just ISN'T a laughing matter!
My best to you. But please, understand others may be hurting right now.
