Well, we have ammassed a big bunch of newbies lately, and some not so new who are coming out of lurkdom. How about a brief intro from EVERYONE (New & Veteran) to get to know each other? Name, age, state or region, reason you want to lose weight, plan you are following if any, what you do for work, and weight stats (not mandatory, but good to see progerss)

My name is Amy, 31, NH in the White Mountains, want to be at a healthier weight before I get too old and it gets harder, plus if I decide to have a baby someday, I'm gonna gain weight ANYWAY... Low carb/Better fat plan, police dispatcher and stats are 265/157/150.

Welcome newbies! I am Heather, 31, special education teacher in Akron, Ohio, live in Kent. Sorry for the anger, just plain emotional these days, trying to conceive our first child. Recently got married in July. Trying to find a house. I workout at Curves and do the Curves diet, but for now, not doing hot on the diet. Trying to pay more attention on eating healthy again for me and child once they come along. There are alot of fine ladies on here that are very supportive. Welcome!

My name is Jodi and I think I was pretty much an emotional eater as well.
I am currently doing weight watchers and I hit the gym 6 days a week. I hated working out, I was sick this week and had to miss two days and honestly when I went back it felt GREAT ! Thats a first.
I work in the Auto Industry in Detroit MI. I am from Austin Texas.

My name is Keeyah. I am a second grade teacher in NY. I would like to lose weight for many reasons, but health reasons are my main concern right now. I try to exercise at least once every day because I feel so much better when I do. Currently, I am doing the 1 mile WATP video, which I love. I'm not on any specific diet or plan, but I try to eat sensibly every day. My current stats are:

My name is Jessica. I live in Ohio. I'm trying to lose weight, 1. b/c I've lived this uncomfortable way to long, 2. I want to be able to keep up with my 10 yr old dd and my fiance and 3. I really, really want to wear HOT clothes and look good and feel comfortable in them.
I've been doing Atkins, but lately not so well. I love the WATP tapes and just recently bought the gazelle (but admit I've mainly just been staring at it...yikes). I seriously need to get my booty back in gear!! I've lost 22 lbs since I seriously started trying and have about 70-80 more to lose.
