I just made my intro a few days ago to this board. But a lot has changed in the last few days!

I talked to my aunt and my grandma who both do Weight Watchers. My grandma stopped going about 6 months ago when my grandparents went to Arizona.

So,...because my therapist who I just started seeing because of the other pressures currently said that a carb dinner is shown, in recent research, to help with depression....I ate carbs and felt a lot better and happier.

In talking to my grandma we have decided to both go back to Weight Watchers together and try it again. I figured I would rather deal with meetings and stuff than feel sick to my stomach. Hope this works!

Good luck with everyone else!

Hi Carrie,

I too have heard the same things about carbs.

I am a runner and I have also heard that carbs are good for people who are athletic. Of course meaning good carbs.

I am on Weight Watchers as well. I find it easy to follow and I am enjoying the program so far. Of course there are days when I wish I could eat everything out there, but I manage, thank god for 100 calorie packs OREOS !!!!!!!!! LOL. 2 pts.

Good luck with WW Carrie.

If you need a buddy. Here is my e-mail address Cutiewithouthalo@aol.com

that makes alot of sense ... 160 or so carbs are required in a healthy balanced diet for normal brain function .... and most low carb diets rarely allow you even near that amount

low carb diets (IMO) are the most unhealthy way of eating in the world
