I've been very good, only using my Weight Watchers Flex Points one here, two there, and very few per week.

Well, I live right near an Irish pub (Heaven for me!).

Mary,

Have to say, good for you for doing so well on your loss! Use those Flex Points! Hey, I'm Irish too and love Irish/Celtic music. I would love to go to Ireland one day. Friends of our have and they just loved it there. Hugs and Congrats, sounds like you are riding high!

I just love the Quiet Man! That's one of my mom's faves too. Funny, my MIL hasn't even heard of the movie, so I don't know where she came up with Shawn, lol. When I told her she was like "Oh yeah?" Guess you would have to know my MIL to understand.

She sounds a lot like my ex-MIL!

Hi Mary!

Use those flex points girl! Enjoy them! Get that pint of Kilkenny or Guinesse (I'm more of a Kilkenny girl myself) with a steak and mushroom pie! Yummm...I'm hungry now.

I'm originally from Newfoundland (on the far east coast of Canada) and we have so much Irish in us our accents make us sound like we come from the motherland. So, I can understand your love of the music and food.

There's nothing better than a dark, warm pub on a cool rainy day with a pint, good food, great music and fabulous company.

Cheers

Mary,

Well, yes and know. I don't mean to throw a wet blanket (REALLY, I don't) but if I were in your situation--and I am, in a way--I'd say, find a way to go and enjoy the music but tread lightly, very lightly, on the calories, flex points or not. You want to move forward, toward your goal, and those extra calories eating out can really throw a wrench in the whole sha-bang. But it's your decision, of course.

Hey! I love The Quiet Man, as well. Yeap, got alot of Celtic in me (I say Celtic rather than Irish because I really am the whole mix of what makes up the Celts.) In fact, I just took my daughter to Ireland this summer! Hated Dublin, loved the rest of it (:

I think it's wonderful that you're planning so well, and have the resistance to limit yourself to once every three months. What a wonderful way to celebrate your losses every quarter! And yes, that's exactly what the flex points should be for!

Forte, I really appreciate your concern, but I don't think that
