Me thinks you are jealous of Astri, very very jealous. Astri merely noted that she didn't have to shop at a fat shop like Lane Bryant. It's not her fault if you do. So "step off" yourself. Stepping is exercise: burn a calorie, repeat.

Forte darling, Astri was not being supportive. You can sugar coat it all you want, but she was just plain wrong. Many people were offended and hurt by her comments and that is real. Tina has been nothing but supportive, a lesson you and Astri should learn since you have no weight to lose but plenty of criticism to throw around. Your little jabs about tourists, just wrong. This is a very prejudicial attitude and one that does not belong here. I personally take offense because my dad and his family are from Kentucky. They are hardly dumb hill folks! Many of my ancestors built some of the first mills in KY and I have done my research on this. Just because we don't live in snob knob and can travel the country doesn't make southerners idiots. So just step off!! You are a big reason many of us are choosing to leave this board altogether. Sorry if the truth hurts!

Wouldn't it have been better to ignor this post then to post such offensive thoughts?

I like Lane Bryant and I am offended that you would refer to these clothes as trash. By doing so you are insinuating that people who wear them are trash, low quality and beneath your contempt. This is offensive.

And *how* do you feel that spirit. Tell you what, I "feel" the spirit of your post was way off. Get off her case. I thought the object here was to lose weight. She did. Praise her. It's a good thing, as Martha would say.

Normally when people introduce themselves with a bit of history(weightloss story,or need for support to lose weight),they are given loads of welcomes...but when someone comes along and bashes posters right off the bat,the desire to welcome you is lost.Oh and hmmm....I don't ever recall a "hi,my name is _______."from you,or astri,or forte,or...gosh the list of problem posters just goes on and on,all we see are snide little remarks.

Me thinks you are jealous, very, very jealous of something you'll never have....frienship from some amazing women who take the time to get to know each other before attacking anyone or their "feelings."

I won't argue with you on the Anna Nicole Smith thing, but LB also had Queen Latifah and Camryn Manheim. Find something trashy to say about them.

And as for the general tone of your post, it's insulting to the people who, in this thread, have praised LB and said how much they like the new fall collection.

I agree with gopher, about the clothes et al. I don't know why (must be the storm and the sea and the wind from the Orlando direction) but I keep thinking of those Jimmy Buffett lyrics:

Son of a son, son of a son

Son of a son of a sailor

The sea's in my veins, my condition remains

I'm just glad I don't live in a trailer

Have a nice day, Astri

OH NO YOU DIDN'T! There is NOTHING wrong with living in a trailer! THAT was just against TOS for Attacking others, and I quote

"Before you post a message (or say something during a live chat) that is intended to embarrass, humiliate or harass another person or group of people, stop and THINK first!"

Ya know what?, a lot of my family and friends live in trailers--double wides which look just like and cost as much as a house..so you're trying to embarres me by saying that. I don't like that thank you very much. Who is acting like trash and who isn't darlin?
