There are no longer enough Catholic priests in North America to fulfill all the requests for divine intervention that are received by parishioners. The requests are therefore outsourced to churches in India, where up-and-coming young clergy pray over them at $5 a pop. It's too bad, the powers-that-be apparently don't know about me and my team of Prayer Warriors, because we perform the same service absolutely free. To demonstrate our effectiveness, we plan to unleash a series of powerful prayers in your behalf. Specifically, we will beseech God to bless you and your family in the coming weeks with cathartic pleasures that will permanently expand your capacity for happiness. Blessings to your new grand-baby, and her parents!
Your board-friend,
Astri

Well I dont know what they will do about the cat they are housesitting.
It's not funny to make fun of people who are economically disadvantaged and may need to live in cheap housing like trailers. Making fun of poor people is not okay, and your implications about Shawna's parents are simply not acceptable. My great grandmother lived in a trailer. She was blind from the time she was 3 years old. Her husband was also blind (they met at a school for the blind in the 1910s) and they raised my grandmother in poverty in a trailer because it was hard for them to be gainfully employed because of their disabilities. They were very classy, very smart people.
I'd be very embarrassed if I were you. It speaks very poorly of your character that you'd make a post like this. Classism is not cool. Not cool at all.
I saw an earlier post about Karma, and perhaps it's something you should keep in mind.

FYI, I know many people have trailers as second homes or even investments. My mom bought a trailer on a lake about 10 years ago, held it for about 5 years and sold it for 60k profit. The land was worth way more than the trailer, but in any case my mom was a trailer owner.

Hi Shawna,
I wonder, to you like Jimmy Buffet? Understand his music? He sings our Florida State Anthem, you know (Cheeseburger in Paradise). Another Buffet song, though, comes to mind as I read your post. I thought I'd share:
Forte, if you're reading, have you been to a Buffet concert? Always the best, and hope you get to one soon. Enjoy, enjoy Forte.
Now, Shawna, those Buffet lyrics:
Son of a son, son of a son
Son of a son of a sailor
The sea's in my veins, my condition remains
I'm just glad I don't live in a trailer
Most Sincerely,
Astri C

And yes, Astri, I ***love*** Buffet's music and it's interesting that you mention "son of a sailor," because just a few minutes ago when I got out of the car that particular tune was on the radio. I love Buffett's music, have just about every CD. And as a matter of fact, Astri, you'd probably like to know that I now own an original signature of Buffett on his newest. They were auctioning a signed copy for Children's Miracle Network, and my bid won. Astri, do you know which album "son of a sailor" is on? I could find it in my cd stack, rather than hunting through the whole thing. A wonderful song, and Buffett in great form as always. His music is great to walk along the beach to, let alone drive, and I usually pop in a cd when I'm walking by the ocean.

The song is SON OF A SON OF A SAILOR, from the album named.......SON OF A SON OF A SAILOR. If you were such a HUGE fan, you would know that. Faking it about being a Buffett fan is a serious offense to true Parrotheads.
