Anyway, a healthy preggo snack I liked was to take some frozen raspberries (and blueberries and/or strawberries) and toss them into the blender with a little skim milk and about half a banana. Using the berries frozen makes it all nice and frosty. You get fruits and calcium from the milk and it tastes pretty darn good.
She'll come before you know it, Des! (And then you won't sleep for months and months and you'll wish you were still pregnant. Life's a bitch, ain't it?) :)

Anyway, I think that it's raspberry tea that's supposed to be especially good for moving things along. But, another yummy preggo friendly snack would be to take low-fat vanilla pudding and stir in some raspberries, maybe even toss in some angel food cake like a parfait. I did that with fresh blackberries & blueberries and frozen raspberries a few weeks ago and it was good. I found some low fat instant jello cheesecake pudding and it made a good dessert.

Sweet and tart
Simply delicious
Topped on vanilla ice cream
Really good in cereal such as homemade granola
Eat as many as you want
Enjoy them with friends and frappicinos

I'm stunned.
I'm shocked.
LOL. I grew up picking wild raspberries, and always wanted angel food cake with raspberries and whipped cream on my birthday. In the summertime the grocery stores are filled with 'em. But I'm from the Northwest.
Anyway, they are kind of high-maintenance berries, and pretty expensive. They're definitely tart, but I love 'em.
No advice on how to jump-start your labor. I know you're tired of being pregnant, but the baby will come when she's ready to! You're almost there--take care of yourself.
