Handling Eating as Entertainment

I posted on this board as it seemed like a board that could relate and answer a question for me. I need to lose about 80 pounds. I work full time in my career and have no trouble eating healthy/low fat/low calorie for breakfast or lunch. I am not much of a breakfast eater and my lunch is eaten at the workplace through my lunch from home. The problem comes in at dinner time and on the weekends. I really make up for the first two meals during the weekdays and on the weekend out of boredom than hunger. I am single and have no kids and see after work as my entertainment for the evening. I rarely eat at home and cooking at home is extremely rare. So, dinner and weekend foods are all fast food or sit down restaurants. With all of this, I get absolutely no exercise. For some reason, I just can't get motivated to exercise and the thought of eating boring meals that I don't care for at home by myself is depressing. I have really let my weight affect my social life and my self esteem. I seem to be successful in most areas of my life and weight seems to be my big thing I can't seem to tackle or conquer. Do you have any suggstions on something I could do to get myself motivated or not feel so bored or deprived of fun when I do change my dinner and weekend routine?

Well you mentioned that you didnt like to cook because it seems like boring food compared to restraunts.
