I am maybe 10 lbs. shy of needing to lose 100 lbs., right now, but I’ve been losing and gaining that 10 for months, so technically, I can be on this board, right? I hope so. I’ve been lurking for a few days, and although I know there has been some trouble on the board, it seems there are many more members who are genuine in giving and receiving support. I’m also very open to an email diet buddy if anyone would like to correspond. (I'm 45, work full time, have adult children and will soon be remarried).
I have tried just about everything out there, and now know that for me, it’s not my choice of plan but the issues of emotional eating that’s my problem. That and what I think is a big appetite. I was thinking of doing a liquid diet for a few days, to jump start my system into losing, and perhaps get my stomach back to eating normal portions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Debbie

Yes we are having a few troubles but for the most part everyone here is great.
I am open to an e-mail buddy as well. In fact I would love to e-mail !
Welcome again.

Hi there Debbie!

It's your choice, of course, what kind of *diet* you want to go on (whether liquid or other). But you really don't have to "diet" to lose weight. Just start somewhere, today, and eat a balanced diet with fewer calories and get some reasonable exercise. It will take time, but you'll get there! You don't need extra-ordinary means to achieve a healthy weight. I've tried to offer some tips, in other threads, and hopefully some of those suggestions might help you. But really, it's just a matter of doing what you know, in your heart-of-hearts, that you should be doing in terms of portion size and movement.

My problem is the constant snacking, snacking, and more snacking. I eat healthy snacks for the most part, but you know what they say about too much of a good thing. LOL. Welcome again! ***Hugs***
