LOl There is nothing wrong with wanting others to notice your weight loss and how nice you look. I think everyone likes to recieve attention.

OK here is my motivation. It may sound really petty but, my sister recently lost about 40 pounds on the south beach diet. We both started out at 230 pounds. I lost 20 (gained back 10 over summer) she lost 40. My mother is trying to encourage me to lose weight but she keeps telling me how wonderful my sister is doing. I know she doesn't mean it but it's like rubbing salt in a open wound. She thinks I should do the south beach diet and won't let it go. My motivation is to lose weight my way so I can say I did it my way and lost. I have to admit I am a jealous of her and I may sound a little petty. I also still have my nightgown from my wedding night. It might have moth holes in it it will be 12 years in October, but I would love to be able to fit in it again. Sorry it was so long but it felt good to tell someone about my jealousy.

Faith...

Along with Debbie's advice, there is this website that I kind of check up on once and a while, when I'm feeling uninspired. It lets you make a virtual model of yourself, and I was shocked how much it really did (kinda) look like me. It's first purpose is to find clothes to compliment your body style, but let me tell you, when I see that model there in her undies, it really helps me stay on course.
