My my, is this board getting hot or what?! I think some people need some time-outs (others need permanent ones!). But Im gonna lay low for a few days/week(s) and see if things settle back down. I made a promise to this board and Rely that when I stepped down from Cl that I wouldnt be leaving the boards. Well I still dont plan to leave permanently....I shouldnt have to frankly. Why should I? But I am gonna take a little vacation from the boards. Im only telling you guys because I dont feel right dissappearing, especially when the board is so messed up right now and Mary is talking about leaving as well (You better not!)

So hang in there guys! I will be lurking and checking emails if you need to get a hold of me :)

Shawna...I can understand your reasoning but I really don't think your leaving (even if it is temporary) is the solution.

Please reconsider. I know I would miss your upbeat, kind hearted and often hilarious posts. You are one of the reasons I do stay around and find the strength to keep doing this.

Cheers

I just think that the posts that bait people should be ignored completely. Replying only encourages the baiters to fish in the pond some more. They will never see your point of view so your energy and time to reply is for naught. Leaving the board and/or breaking for a while only hurts yourself and those around you who care about you. Have the strength to just let the threads die when a baited post comes along. That makes you the bigger person. When I say "you" I mean in general. I don't point fingers.

Shawna,

I don't think it is a good idea for you to leave either. You are really needed here. I agree with what others have said...just don't respond to negative, baiting posts. I don't have time for such posts, and I know that you don't either. I also know that it is not that easy, but please reconsider. Luv ya.
