Ladies!!!

I have been using Clinique for years and I am ready for a change. I am tired of spending money since I am on a budget and want an efficent way to clean and keep my skin looking good. I have sensitive skin. Thank you so much.

Pookie

I love Dove facial pads. They come in a box and usually I can make one last for each day (using it once in the morning and once before bedtime). I've been using the Dove pads for sometime now as my cleaner. I also have been using some Lancome firming and mosturizing products but am tired of spending $200 when I need to refill. I using up the products I have before I switch to a cheaper product. I am seriously considering using the Olay regenerist products for my mosturizer products.

To me, the key to my skin has always been drinking a lot of water and making sure I clean my face in the morning and at night. I think if you try other, cheaper, products give your skin some time to adjust. I've noticed when I have switched cleansing products that I had a few pimples but then my skin adjusted.

Good luck!

Thats what I use!! Those little pads are pretty handy :) Plus they have the exfoliating side and the smoothing side. I agree with Trueflame on using the Dove facial pads.

I used to be utterly devoted to Lancome. But, I am a full-time student and I have quite a few little mouths to feed around here, so I had to switch too. I now use Olay, and their products are great. My face is just as smooth and they are MUCH more friendly on the pocketbook. I do agree with Flame though. At least 8 tall glasses of H2O are the key.

I just love Oil of Olay. I've tried Mary Kay too and didn't like it as well. I love the daily facial cloths, feel so good in the AM!

I have very sensitive skin as well. A few years ago I stopped using anything but water. I do a warm/hot washcloth rinse followed by a very cold splash. This along with lots of water to drink has left my skin smooth and clear.

Everyone is going to laugh hysterically, but my 'tip' was featured in JANE magazine last year.

For five years, I have been using Summer's Eve Feminine Wash for Sensitive Skin (no scent, no dye) and here is why:

1. A soap free formula formulated to regulate skin's pH balance. Although designed for use in the vaginal exterior area, it keeps the natural acid mantle of skin high, to discourage the growth of certain organisms like yeast. If the acid balance (skin and vagina are slighly acidic)is thrown too much into the 'base/alkaline end, problems develop.

2. I figured if I can use this on my hoo hoo, why not my face? It washes away dirt and extra oil, doesn't get too drying, doesn't irritate, and it's CHEAP.

3. Five years and perfect skin doesn't lie.

So..take it with a grain of salt, but I highly suggest you try it.

You guys are right about the water - not that it will hydrate your skin, but our skin acts as a third 'kidney', and when crap builds up in your body (meds, hormones, toxins) it is taken out on the skin if there is not enough fluid in your body to make the cells do their job properly.

LMAO! You are right! I am crying I am laughing so hard.

"Hoo Hoo" is that what it is called these days? ;o) Interesting tip. Might have to try that one but have a feeling my DH is going to have the guys in the white uniforms pick me up or take me for a reading test.

Thanks for the tip and the giggle!
