I was thinking this morning...that I can give up eating *most* of the foods I love, I can give up smoking too...but I will NEVER EVER give up Starbucks latte's and Qdoba mexican food....and I mean it.

You cant make me! If I can not enjoy those two simple pleasures in my life then I wouldnt want to live lol

Well, what I would never give up is my Tim Horton's coffee...it's a Canadian thing, I guess. I'm not sure if you have Tim Hortons anywhere else, I think there are probably a few in the States... but no other coffee compares to it! Being off of sugar, I can go into the place and resist all of the donuts and other baked goods...sometimes it's harder when Aunt Flo is in town... but I could never go into a Timmy's and NOT get a coffee! Another thing I could never give up is Ice cream... so I'm fortunate that the low carb craze is promoting low carb ice cream! It's really hard to be a good girl when there's ice cream of any kind in the house. When I'm pregnant one day, I think that my diet will consist of mostly ice cream!! ~Sabrina

I will never give up Cheeseburgers. I don't care how fattening they are, I don't care. I must each them once in a while. I looove cheeseburgers. ESPECIALLY loaded cheeseburgers. I am talking Okay, two pieces of meat, (extra)bacon, shredded lettuce, chedder jack cheese, and BBQ sauce--now THAT is a cheeseburger! I want one now...

Sara, I work in tavern 2 nights a week and there ain't nothing like a bar Cheeseburger with the works. I GAVE THEM UP!!! Thank goodness we specialize in wings, and we have lots of legal sauses, LOL. But I will never give up my morning coffee. I go into town every other week and buy 2 pounds of Starbucks beans and drink 3 to 4 cups every morning. Nothing like fresh ground coffee. :-) Stephanie 280/232/170 Atkid since 6/15/2003

Life without red wine and dark chocolate is NOT life, it's existence!

Of all the possible things out there, I'm going to have to agree with the coffee lovers.

Sab,

A few years ago I drove across NH, Maine (THAT state will make you suicidal driving across it), New Brunswick into Nova Scotia and ALL the way up to the tip of Cape Breton Island.

Tim Horton's was the only thing that kept us going for the 22 hour, 900 mile trip that we did all at ONCE. And then arriving at our ocean campsite, had to set up a TENT.

Tom Horton's ROCKS.

And to answer to OP...

COFFEE. Dark, oily fragrant beans SCREAMING to be ground...

CHOCOLATE. In any form. I don't care. Smear it on a dead cat for all I care.

*second dead cat reference for me today*

MEAT. Oh jeez I love meat. Lamb, steak, pork, chicken, sausage, ham...MEEEEAAAT.....

YOUNGER MEN. No explanation needed. (And you wondered how the weight came off?)

Hee hee! You're so right, Timmy's does rock. It actually makes me proud to be Canadian! Around here, there is NOTHING that compares to Tim Hortons. I heard that what makes the coffee so addictive is that there is twice the caffiene in it than is normally in coffee. I don't know if it's true, but there's SOMETHING that they must do different. I'm curious about whether they do have Tim Horton's elsewhere in the world...anyone have Tim Horton's in their state? ~Sabrina
