((((Mary))) I'm sorry to hear that you were depressed. I'm glad that you're feeling better. I love bluish green zircon set in 14 karat gold. ***Hugs***
Opal is my birthstone and I have several. I have a pair in right now. They are greenish-blue and were a gift from my husband. I also have a white set (earings) that in the sunlight turn pink. Need to get those reset tho cause I hate the setting they are in so I never wear them. Opals and pearls are my very favorite. :-) Stephanie, a transplant to NE Ohio from N. Ca
Oooh...I have a rainbow moonstone I wire wrapped and put on a chain to wear.I love it,and no one has seen one before with so many lines of black streaked within it.The other colors are just so brilliant too(and the fact that I was drawn to it)...so I just had to pick it up :o)
The one I have is about the size of a quarter and oval, with a silver rim around it, on a silver choker type wire. It has an very intersteing streak of blue running through it, and reminds me of a bolt of lightning. I love it.
Mega-props for raising money for an animal in need. I am a crazy animal freak, so it's wonderfully comforting to see others helping out a species that so desperately needs our human TLC. Good luck, and I hope that you make bundles of money! Hero looks awesome, but wine-tasting sounds equally as fun. Tough choice.
As for gemstone, I would have to say opal, perot or emerald. They are all very beautiful. I love them for all differently for all sorts of deep and sentimental reasons.
Take Care, and again...Good luck. Keep me posted on the health of your equine pal.

First is Moonstone. Personal reasons.
Second is Aquamarine. The pale, water color I love.
Third is Tanzanite. I like the clear lavendar color; amethyst is TOO purple for me.
