Hi,
I agree with Shawna, TGIF! Today I have to give a big presentation about a research project I've been doing, but I've only finished entering data 10 days ago and haven't had time to do anything fancy so I'm nervous about how it's going to turn out (people in my dept. tend to be a wee bit critical). This project is part of why I haven't been posting much lately.

But, I wanted to share that this is the first time in a long time that being stressed about a big project has not caused me to totally go unhinged in my eating! Usually when I have to work late every night for weeks on end like I have been it's been a junk-food fest (partly to keep myself awake, entertained, to "reward" me for working so hard, and all sorts of other excuses). Okay, so there were chips involved this week, but they were pretty much in moderation, so I'm very pleased with myself. I swear I'm carrying around at least 20 lbs. from stressful work times, and I'm happy that I didn't add to it this time around.
The stress will end at 1:00 today! Wish me luck!

The talk went really well. Not many people were there because they all left for one of my friend's weddings that was the next day two states away (we drove up the morning of, and it was lots of fun).
It was great to get through it and not binge.
But, I did end up at sonic after the talk for a grilled cheese and tater tots!!!
Oh well, I did a good job on the whole!
