I fell off the diet wagon

Well, ladies I hit a bump in the road. This weather sent me in a true tailspin. I am not the best in this type of trouble. Well, I went out to stock up and I stocked up on all the NO NO foods I love. Needless to say I ate !!!!!!! Why is this good? I know you wonder but it is good. I was not happy and did not get the pleasure I used to get because it was just toooooooooooooo much food and the bloated feeling was not good. The food did not satisfy as it used to. I had set up a eating regime I really did enjoy and was not missing anything. Binging just made me sick and feel yucky . I have been feeling energized and great. Choice??? There is none. I enjoy the way I have been eating and exercising. I did not miss that heavy feeling and lethargic attitude. Two years ago four months ago,I would have said I messed up and there is no going back so let's party and eat and eat. WRONG!!!!!!! I do not have to go back I want to go back and get the feeling I had from eating right and exercising. There was no defeat or battle lost just a stumble on the way to my goal. I chose a plan I could live with ......ain't it grand!!!!!

Pookie, honey, you took me with you.

I had fudge, cookies, and coffee for dinner last night.

And GOD WAS IT GOOD.

Yes dear it was good but the end result was not so hot. I really like the diet I use and I did not have fun eating like MS. Piggy LOL. I tell you what the shock is that I am not a happy camper with me and will be glad ues glad to be back on the diet.

Well that does sound like good news Pookie! Its amazing how our tastes change once we get into a routine. Sometimes I still feel like going "back" but most of the time I feel guilty and dont enjoy it as much as I used to.

There was just no pleasure and the feeling of being overly full was not pleasant!!! The truth is I was not starving myself but I was meeting my needs and losing weight!! I guess this had to happen to make me realize I am so serious about this weight loss.

I have to say I have not only fell off the wagon, but I think I got hit by the truck coming towards it and got drug down the road in the opposite direction. I am so far off program that I can't seem to get myself back on. Last month I gained 6 pounds and I am afraid to get on the scale now. I am considering going to see the dietician, but she is so expensive and we don't have any extra right now. Take care. Hugs, Brenda

I have been there and believe me I did not get to weighing over 300 by not punishing myself for poor eating habits by eating more and more to punish the first mistake. I guess this was my test to see if I was serious .................... I am very serious about this. I found a wonderful place to exercise I can do and get super support CURVES the women are fantastic. If they have not seen you in awhile they make comments that are soooooooooooooooo positive they make you blush because you know............. YOU KNOW no one is noticing anything about you ....................WRONG!!!! You eat right and you start craving the fruit and forget about your favorite candy. Your payback............. You feel good. I stumbled and you did toooooooooooooo neither one of us has fallen down to the point of not getting up. Take my hand.............. I will help you up. We can get back on track again and make that scale move down some more. I want to lose this weight. I will lose this weight I have given myself until Dec. 2005 to get where I want to. I have a chance or two to stumble and get back on track. You just stumbled............... Look in the mirror and say tommorrow is my day and reach out and embrace it and start your program then. Let today go its way you can not live it again. Smile in the mirror and give yourself peptalk 99 and do it.

Thanks! I am pretty far down right now. I don't know if you can reach me. I don't even have good why's or how's for dieting right now. Today I have eaten half a bag of Oreo's and now I just want to cry. Why can't I get back on? I must have hit my head when I fell off the wagon. I wish you the best in your weightloss journey. Good Luck to you! Hugs, Brenda

Brenda, when you are feeling better, read this:

http://www.ladymisstree.com/callipygian/archives/100_reasons_why_2004_05_14.html

and write a similar list. Post where you can see it. Read every day.

That is the greatest thing I've ever seen! I really like that idea, and I think as soon as I'm done here, I"m going to start my very own list! I think it might help me in my journey!

((((((((((((((Brenda))))))))))))))))

Oh, sweety, I know. Trust me, I know! I lost 20 lbs nearly a month and a half ago, and I thought to myself..."Self, you're doing great! You're doing wonderful! You're going to do this!" But recently, school just started up full-time again so I'm up at 6am to be to school by 7am. I get home around 2pm and have to be to work by 3pm. Then (if I'm lucky and we don't have any emergencies) I get off at 11pm, and am in bed by 12 or 1am! I don't get a chance to eat while I'm at work, so I just gorge when I get home on whatever I can find or stop by whichever fastfood place is still open, and then go right to sleep. I've still been trying to eat healthy, but sometimes Arby's calls a little louder then that pitta and hummus I brought for lunch. Keep you're head up, Brenda. I haven't given up yet. I can't give up. I WILL win! I HAVE to! Don't you give up either. We're here for you.
