when i was 19, i weighed about 260 and lost about 50 - 60 lbs over the course of a year. once i was "happy with where i was" (i had no desire to be skinny...just less fat) i lost focus and lost the progress i had made. i currently weigh about 285....i wear a size 26 pant and size 30 top (darn these boobs *hehe*)....i desperatly want to have a breast reduction, but i don't want to do it and then lose weight and still end up with saggy boobs. so anyways, i think i'm going back on the pill cuz i despise condoms (i actually was on the pill when i lost that 50ish lbs)...but i know i need structure to lose weight this time. i lost weight before cuz i didn't have to feed anyone else so i'd make 1-2 serving food when i was hungry and only when i was hungry. stupid husband who won't cook for himself - i can't cook and then not eat what i've cooked! sometimes i'd get busy and realize at like 10pm that i hadn't eaten that day - then i'd go to bed. (don't worry, that only happened a couple times.)
anyway, i'm having trouble finding a good plan....does anyone know of a "diet finder" online where you can put in what types of foods you like and what type of time/place you have to work out and suggests diets? i thought eDiet did that, but i went on that site earlier and it was just like "which diet would you like to try?" and had a list of popular diets. grrrrrrr. i don't want to read books on all the diets out there trying to find one that will fit my lifestyle and tastes!
so hello and, um, thanx for reading!

I'm glad that you decided to join us on the board. The ladies here are super supportive and have some wonderful advice. As far as the diet finder is concerned, I haven't found anything like that, but I have looked and looked! I'm currently on Weight Watchers...kinda...I don't attend the meetings, I just follow the pts guide in the front of most of their cookbooks and this huge list of foods and their pts I found online. It seems to be working fairly well. I've lost 20 lbs thus far, but I'm struggling to keep it off. I'm kinda in the same boat as you with the full-time student, full-time job, married, wanna baby thing. Anyway, I'm sure you'll find this board very warm and full of beautiful, caring women who know exactly what you're going through.
Good luck and welcome aboard,
Critter
