Name: Chris

Age: 29

State: Minnesota (Go Twins!)

Stats: 5'11" 350/346/200

1. Finding my true self, and water, water, water! Not only drinking at least 100 oz a day but water aerobics. I also try to follow the WW program because it allows me to eat what I want, with moderation. :)

2. Make excercise a part of my life permanently and educating others about obesity.

Jess; 24; Oregon; 240ish unofficial high/232 official high/179 current weight/130 goal weight; counting calories and exercise.

1. Counting calories and working out (a LOT).

2. Never allowing myself to gain back any weight. I haven't so far, which is a first for me. I will also continue to count calories and exercise regularly. I've been doing this for almost a year now. Feels great!

Amanda, 23, GA, not sure about my stats, I've been exercising and will get back OP with WW on Monday. I will, really! :-)

1. What do you think is the most important aspect for YOUR weight loss? Some examples: counting calories/something else, drinking water, focusing on eating veggies, exercising....etc.

For me, dieting is fairly simple. (editted to say - I don't think dieting is simple, and obviously I'm no angel in that dept. I'm just better at watching food intake than getting up off my butt and exercising) Exercise is the hardest thing for me to do. I've been working out regularly for a month now and I really feel great. The thing is, when I started exercising, I started eating anything I felt like eating. Well, DUH! That isn't going to work. So, I'm going to sit down this weekend and plan for next week.

2. Its widely known that the majority of people who lose a weight put it back on so what are you planning to do to make sure that it doesnt happen to you?

Once I get below 190.....I'm never going there again (unless I'm pregnant - and hopefully not then). Then, once I get below 180--that will be my cutoff point. I want to get to 160-165. I plan to weigh weekly after I hit that goal and if I'm creaping up to 170, I'll know it's time to get strict again. I've always been an emotional eater and I plan to work on that too. I think I'll keep a journal....every time I feel the need to eat (when I'm not hungry), I'll whip out that journal.

I just want to say this.....I don't post a lot, but you ladies are the best! You don't know how much you motivate me! Congrats and best wishes to all,

Amanda

Brenda, 36, KS, 290/276/135, calorie counting and exercise

1. For me the most important aspect of my plan is me staying focused. If I let my life get in the way, I fail miserably.

2. Got to get it off first. One plan at a time.:)

I am 27 and in Atlanta, GA

My stats: 307/292/140 and I am only 5'6

My weight loss program: Jenny Craig and Ballys

The most important aspect of my weight loss: Going to the gym and sticking with low fat foods. However, I do find it difficult with Jenny Craig to eat all day. But it seems to work for me.

I think that I will make this lifestyle my WOL. I will incorporate this into my everyday life forever.

Linda, 39, MA, 246/207/199(for now), watching what I eat and exercising

1. What do you think is the most important aspect for YOUR weight loss? Some examples: counting calories/something else, drinking water, focusing on eating veggies, exercising....etc.

The most important aspect for me is exercise. When I'm consistent with that, I feel better, and I actually eat better, too.

2. Its widely known that the majority of people who lose a weight put it back on so what are you planning to do to make sure that it doesnt happen to you?

I'm not keeping ANY of my bigger clothes (except for one pair of jeans for comparison). I gave away all my clothes that got too big for me and I REFUSE to buy that size again, so I can't gain any back. Also, I'm making lifestyle changes, not dieting, so I'm not going back to my old ways of eating.
