Yay, Mary! It sounds like it was an incredible experience! It will be so exciting to get the new CD and get to relive parts of the concert. I'm so glad that you let yourself have this wonderful experience and I hope it keeps you coming!
What you said about not having junk food cravings makes sense to me. A lot of times people use food to fill other voids in their life and now you're filling those holes with the joy of music!
:)

Dont apologize to her Mary. Look over her posts and you will see what is happening if you think she is being serious. Your comment about death was in no way offensive.
Mary...I sooooooooo happy that you had a great time. You more than deserve that joy so please hold on to it and let it keep you going.
Having come from a small island on the east coast of Canada that still lives its Irish heritage daily, I can understand the toe tapping, dancing, singing, clapping happiness that those fiddles can produce. Live it up, enjoy it and don't let anyone or anything take it away from you!
Tragedies occur in everyone's life at some point in time. And I would think that after 'surviving' a hurricane you would be a little more appreciative of the things in life that could make an individual happy.
So grow up, move on and let go.
Cause if you ever wanted to talk about horrible experiences that a person could go through give me a call because honey you don't know what horrors are.
Get on with your life and let others who have done no harm to you revel in their joy.
Mary, that is so great that you enjoyed yourself at the concert!
survivor....you need to chill. Really. If you read Mary's bio, she lost one of her children, so she DOES know the pain of death. That statement is an expression well known by the people of Earth. And don't give me the "insensitive" talk. You are talking to a hurricane, tornadao, and a 9/11 survivor. And I would respectfully decline any ill will verbage "certain" members of the board would have coming my way. I'm rather impervious to them. My apologies.
Besides, I bet you are just happy to bits that admist the torrential downpour, that soapbox was floating by for you to jump on. Now, if only to be as lucky to find a flaming torch floating by in effort to start an uprising to eradicate "I'm going to kill you!" and "I died laughing" from the English lexicon...
