Waiting is the hardest part!!

Well, as everyone knows, I wrote my nursing exam to get my license on Sept. 15th. It went alright, but now comes the hardest part...WAITING!! They said we'd have to wait about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks for the results...and I hate it!! Right now I've just got a casual position at work, and I am not getting very many call-ins at ALL. It sucks because I don't get to have much of a life!! How can you make plans when you have to wait by the phone to see if you are going to get called in that day? And the worst part is that I KNOW I'm going to get a ton of hours when I get my registration, but I have to friggin' wait. I HATE IT!! I feel like a lazy bum...and I've really fit the part, especially because I've been cheating all week due to PMS. EVERY month I end up cheating, and I don't know what to do about it. Usually the day starts out alright, with good intentions, but then somehow I screw it up by the end of the day. I wish I knew what to do about this. I'm starting induction yet again today, we'll see how that goes.

Sorry about the b*tch fest, but this is how I feel today!! Hope everyone else is having a better day. ~Sabrina

In case you missed it, she said she has to stay home to answer the phone in case she gets called in to work. Using an answering machine doesn't let her receive the call and get in to work, if she's running around for hours out of the house.

If she has the means to help anyone affected by the hurricanes, perhaps she might like to help Haiti? Or have you forgotten about them.... Nevermind that hurricanes have nothing to with weight-loss support, which is what this board is for.

Oh, wha, wha, wha! Do you have anything else to cry about!? Life sucks because you have to wait by the phone! Well, who says you have to wait by the phone? Put on your answering macine, and if you don't own one get one. Then get out there and make yourself useful. Even with the canadian flag by your name, there is the INTERNATIONAL Red Cross! Try giving blood, or volunteering your "nursing" services in some way that will help the larger American community. In case you haven't heard, there are relief efforts going on to help the people of Florida recover from a record number of serious hurricanes. Why not make yourself useful, and put those talents you claim to have to work, in trying to help people. Hey Florence Nightengale, get off the couch and help hurricane victims. Give that new degree of yours more than lip service, put it to work. And who knows, it might even help you get your profession up and running.

Yes, you really do fit the part.

WOW, that sure was uncalled for LOL!!! Thanks, Yav, for copying that message, I was really curious when I saw one was deleted! I'm wondering if this is our buddy Forte, disguised with yet another name. Leaves you to wonder why she would paint me as a lazy butt with nothing better to do, when she takes the time to come here and make an effort to p*ss people off. At least I can hold my head up high and know that I have respect for other human beings.

Thanks again for the support, Yav :)

Thanks for the idea, Shawna. I'll try that. I also wanted to try this PMS tea I saw at Walmart, but the last couple times I looked for it, it was out of stock. I'm not too sure what it's supposed to help with, but if it does anything for cravings, I'd love to try it. Has anyone else tried it? I want to know if it works! ~Sabrina
