It's a total Monday here in Michigan.


The weather has changed drastically we had the air on last week and last night we turned the heat on?!?! I have never lived in a place that has weather quite like this but what are ya gonna do?


I am on WW as many of you know, this week I am going to shake things up a little, to see where it takes me. I usually have soup or something at lunch time I am going to be trying tuna and things that are more protien to carry me through the day. I am going to splurge tomorrow and have some black bean soup from panera!!!!!!! Delish and 2pts!!!!!!


I moved into a new point range with my last loss and I am finding myself more hungry than I have been before. I am now at 26pts. I am using few points at breakfast & lunch and than using the majority for dinner after my workout.


I am still stumped on how to calculate AP? Anyone have a simple way to figure that out?


On average or on my nin "run" days I do 80 mins of cardio and ab's, I do a hill program at a quick pace on the treadmill, and than use the elliptical on a quick pace alternating the resistance.


What is everyone else trying this week?

I'm recovering from reading your post on exercise. I'm exhausted just reading it. I barely have time to go to Curves 3x/week for a half hour each session. I can't imagine working out that much. No wonder you're doing so well.

I'm still recovering from bout w/a respiratory virus. And now my little guy has it...so no school for him, and no Curves for me. There goes one day of exercise. I'll try to do something here, but I have to work for dh.....

Feel better and don't worry about working out you need you're rest if you are not feeling well.!


I kick my own butt at the gym. I go 6 days a week, I think I have a death wish! Or I just like to look at the hot MENSSSSSSS ! Who knows?!!?!


I did the marathon this weekend so I am going to lay off the running for a few weeks and really focus on lots of cardio and abs (or lack there of).


A long time ago my trainer asked me if I wanted a body like Claudia Schiffer? My response to him. Yeah I used to. Than I ate her. In the non biblical sense of course.


Gotta Keep working at it. !

Just really trying to get back on some program here. I am just about to give up doing it on my own and going to see a dietician. I can't seem to get my eating under control while my life is so out of control. The dietician is $40 a visit. It is hard to justify with all my other medical expenses. I just don't know what to do. Have a great week!

Hey there Jodi :) Figuring out Aps can be tough but I can give you two different equations for figuring it out. For every 20 mins give yourself one AP OR for every 50 calories you burn, then give yourself an AP (this approach allows for intensity). But be careful...some people cant eat their APs and lose weight. But if you find that you can eat a few each day, wonderful! I was always able to eat my APs and lose but I dont think I could now...so I suggest testing it to see how many APs you can eat each week.

I have been using the equation of total calories burned divided by 75. A leader told me that, but so many opinions out there differ. I don't use mine often, but yesterday I didnt have much lunch and ate an entire bag of FF popcorn which I think comes out to 4pts. So I used 2 of my ap's.


I usually make it a rule not to. Just because I want to be on the safe side.


I am so proud of you Shawna. Not only are you a great person but you are a strong woman. You have lost 70#s which is awesome and quit smoking. Girl you ROCK!


Isn't Tina coming this weekend? If so I hope you two enjoy you're visit. !!!

I had the Panera black bean soup for lunch yesterday - it was awesome!

And their pepperblue sandwich on low carb bread oh........yummy.

1/2 sandwich and cup of soup was very filling and oh so satisfying.

Thank you Jodi :) I think I am pretty nice too lol Tina is coming this weekend, on Friday. We are actually on the phone with each other right now hehe Im looking forward to her coming too. But we are gonna eat out only one time this weekend. We are bad influences on each other....
