Tomorrow morning will be one month smoke free! Woohoo! Whodathunkit?! Not me! Im so proud of myself right now :) Now Im focusing more on my eating and getting that under control. The scale told me this morning that I was down and Im feeling more like my old "loser" self!

I have saved myself from smoking 813 cigarettes, $154.00 and gained alot of self esteem!

Shawna! I'm so happy and proud of you! Keep it up! Let me ask you (cuz I'm still smoking) what does it feel like? I'm really thinking of quitting too...

It feels good Kerry :) Its hard sitting at my computer sometimes but its worse watching TV. It still smells good to me though. Ive had people smoking in front of me and it doesnt bother me TOO bad, but it still crosses my mind to ask for one. But at the end of the day...it feels good to know that I finally did it. Quitting was something that I viewed as harder than losing weight and now I can say that Im smoke free and 70 pounds lighter! So Im proud of myself :)

My lungs feel great...I smell good, my house smells better, its nice going into a restraunt and not having to sit in smoking or fret about when Im gonna get my next smoke. I dont have to stop to get some smokes because God forbid I run out right before bed, in the middle of a show or wake up with none.....LOL

So if your thinking about doing it Kerry, go for it. There is only ONE reason to smoke...the pleasure you get from doing it. For most smokers, its fun and a huge part of their life. A part they would miss if they quit. But the negatives from smoking outweight the one positive any day.

Holler at me if you decide to take the plunge and need some support. If you asked me a little over a month ago "Do you think you can quit smoking?" I would have laughed and said "hell no!"

Well Done!!! I know what a struggle it can be - I'm now at 14 months smoke free and can't ever see me wanting to go back.

You know, it's tough quiting smoking and trying to lose weight...you go girl!
