I walked about two miles today...give or take. Not really sure since I didnt drive it. I went walking with my son's 4K class to the local fire dept. Sadly...between the exercise of yesterday and today, my hips are sore! That is sad guys! I also havent had the first ounce of water today. But my eating has been so-so at least....well it was so-so until it came to my snacks. It feels harder now that I cant smoke.

Breakfast: Kashi Go Lean Crunch w/ 2% milk
Then the bosses decided to buy us lunch.
Lunch: 1 piece of bacon cheeseburger pizza (at least I restrained myself (barely) and only had one) and a glass of Pepsi
And it was just downhill from there.
Supper: Taco Bell - chicken quesadilla, 3 crunchy tacos, and Pepsi
I was too tired to make anything (you may notice I'll say that alot!). And here comes the weekend, which is SO hard for me to be good. But I'll try!
Sunflower
So I applaud you guys for hanging in there with me, regardless of how it turns out :) Now, I need to go back and edit my post.
am: natural peanut butter and celery,
skim mozarella pieces
Lunch: salad, tomato, bacon bits, cheddar, chicken,
balsamic vinagrette, diet coke
Pm: ff/sf fudgicle, yam chips, diet coke
tomato and mozarella salad w. balsamic vinegrette
well, yam chips were not really on the plan but best I could do in a tight situation out with friends at the pub. Also, diet coke instead of the triple martini I WANTED to order, so for me, on a Friday, I was showing excellent restraint. whoohoo.
Exercise... WENT TO THE GYM>>> I AM A ROCKSTAR< AND MY LEGS ARE STILL BURNING, but went for a walk.
see you tomorrow ladies!!!

I wouldn't worry about the yam frites at all, in fact that's what I have when I go to pubs, yes, they're deep fried, but not in batter and you could definitely have done worse food wise. Especially if you ate them with sour cream, which slows the digestion of the carbs.
Congrats to you ladies for another journal under our belts!
and yes, yams are close enough to sweet potatoes (there may be a slight difference, like alligators and crocodiles) but for all intents and purposes, the same.

ha ha. Yam fries taste great to me!! If you like strangish vegetables...Are orange and like a sweet potato. I used to eat yam tempura sushi all the time... it was my favorite, and this is just the vegetable fried without the batter of tempura. They have the same consistancy as fries, kind of sweet and salty...extra good to know they weren't a diet buster.
frites are fries ;) that's what they call them in Quebec, france and netherlands, at least! Usually you can get them with mayonaisse (frites met mayo) (gross!)
do know poutine???!!!
this is definately canuck!
ciao, amigos
Well that is cool about the frites...I learn something new each day!
