I hope you feel better! Funny, I use the same logic. If I eat it now, then it won't be there later to tempt me. But of course there's something else later to tempt me again anyways! Will we ever learn? LOL!

Yes, no more cookie binges for you! Look, I know its a hard concept because Ive been through it. So if you cant give away the offending foods, cookies in this case, then just throw them away. Look at it this way...putting those cookies into your body is as big a waste as putting them in the garbage :)
Ok, Im not the best example but listen to my story haha Once....I went to McDonalds and ordered a cheeseburger meal. When I got home, not only did I get the unhealthy meal but they also gave me a spare cheeseburger. Back in the day, I wouldnt have thought twice about eating the extra, but this time, I panicked. I knew I shouldnt be eating the McDonalds to begin with but now I had a spare cheeseburger staring at me in the face.
So I just smashed it. I disfigured that cheeseburger beyond all recongnition and threw it away :) I felt pretty good about that actually lol Can you picture a crazy, overweight woman on a diet beating the hell out of a cheeseburger? Well that was me *blush*
ha ha ha. VERY funny image! Like in Fried Green Tomatoes... Tawanda!!!!
Yep, I have done the cookie monster routine SO many times. Now I buy them for my boyfriend and keep them on a shelf I can't reach and forget they are there. But I worry about that monster coming back...
