New to the board

Hi everyone! This my first posting on this board. On 10/11, I started a new eating lifestyle in order to be healthier and lose weight. I'm 5'5", and when I started this, I weighed 270. I am now down to 261!! I ultimately would like to be about 135-140, so I've got a very long road ahead of me, and I could really use some support from people who understand this struggle. Most of my friends are super thin or are on totally unhealthy diets, so I have difficulty talking to them about this. I would love any advice that any one could give!

Thank you all so very very much for your wonderful support in such a short period of time!!! It means so much to me!! My weight is something that I've struggled with all my life and I just finally decided that enough was enough. I'm very excited about what I've accomplished so far; it's amazing what can happen when you stop drinking sodas!!! And I am so looking forward to my bright, healthy future!
